During Covid-19 students have had a limited experience which wasn't expected when going into this; our social life and the money we've spent on accommodation we've barely been in have been taken from us due to the pandemic. Mike is the night time security staff at Cambrian Point, mainly working the weekends. He has enabled all of us to enjoy our time at University whilst still adhering to Covid-19 government guidance by respecting us and our needs as students, and adults, in this unprecedented time. He also works to make sure we feel safe at all times, in and around the premises. 

Unfortunately, Unite Students have cut hours from a lot of their staff, and Mike is included in this. This consequently means Mike is unable to stay at our premises - many students have rebooked to stay in Cambrian Point because of him and the experiences we've had with him. Both him, the other staff, and all of us residing in Cambrian Point would love to have him back so we can continue to be happy during our time at University and have his support!!
