### Open Letter to All Kashmiri Pandits ###
Subject: A Call for Collective Boycott of Upcoming Assembly Elections in Jammu & Kashmir
Dear Members of the Kashmiri Pandit Community,
For the past 34 years, we have faithfully participated in every Assembly and Parliamentary election, hoping that our voices would be heard and our suffering acknowledged. Despite our unwavering commitment, our concerns have been ignored, our rights trampled, and our plight dismissed. This open letter is a heartfelt plea for us to unite and take a decisive stand together.
Over the decades, what have we, as Kashmiri Pandits, truly gained from our elected representatives? Whether we reside in Jammu, Delhi, Pune, Mumbai, or elsewhere, what has an MP or MLA done to address our issues, to bring justice to our community? The truth is undeniable—our voices have been sidelined, and our community has been neglected. We have repeatedly placed our trust in the electoral process, yet no meaningful progress has been made toward securing a homeland within Kashmir or the recognition of our refugee status.
One of the most painful betrayals we have faced is the refusal of even the highest court in this country to deliver justice. The Supreme Court of India has denied us justice multiple times, citing that 34 years is too long to gather the necessary evidence for our genocide. If even the apex court of the land turns away from our suffering, what more negligence and injustice can we expect? This is not just a denial of justice; it is a denial of our very existence and our right to live with dignity.
For too long, we have lacked a unified voice and a common agenda, allowing political parties to take us for granted. We have been treated as an insignificant vote bank, approached only when convenient for those in power. But it is time for us to change that narrative. By standing together in a collective boycott of the upcoming assembly elections, we can send a powerful message: we will no longer tolerate being ignored and neglected.
This boycott is not a rejection of democracy, but a strategic and peaceful protest against a system that has failed us repeatedly. Until our demands for a homeland within Kashmir or refugee status are met, we must refuse to participate in elections that offer us nothing in return. Let this be the moment we demonstrate our unity, our strength, and our resolve.
I humbly request you all, as a concerned member of this community, to stand united just this one time. Our cause is just, our demands are legitimate, and we can no longer afford to be divided. Together, we can make a difference and ensure that our voice is finally heard.
With determination and solidarity,
[A Concerned Member of the Kashmiri Pandit Community and a Refugeein my own country]
