Reconstruction of Jannat ul Baqee (Heritage Site)

Reconstruction of Jannat ul Baqee (Heritage Site)
The Issue
On the 21st of April 1925 the government of Saud demolished and destroyed the historically revered cemetery of Jannat ul Baqee (Garden of Paradise) in the city of Medina.
Jannat ul Baqee is one of the most ancient cemeteries and dates back to over 1500 years. It is a site revered by millions of Muslims worldwide and was marked with vast mausoleums and tombs that symbolized marvels in ancient architecture.
Furthermore, the cemetery is a burial site for hundreds of revered historical figures including (but not restricted to):
Imam Hassan Ibn Ali: Grandson of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon Him & His progeny) buried in 670 AD
Imam Ali Ibn Husayn: Grandson of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon Him & His progeny) buried in 713 AD
Imam Muhammad Ibn Ali: Grandson of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon Him & His progeny) buried in 733 AD
Imam Ja`far Ibn Muhammad: Grandson of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon Him & His progeny) buried in 765 AD
It is also worthy to note that Imam Ja`far Ibn Muhammad was the teacher of the renowned astronomer, physicist and alchemist Jabir Ibn Hayyan (Geber) who is renowned as the Father of early chemistry.
The destruction of the historic cemetery of Jannatul Baqee denotes a grave crime committed against history, ideology and archaeology. It remains demolished to date.
Furthermore, the actions of the Saud government serve as a basis of justification for other terrorist organizations such as ISIS and Al Qaeeda who have destroyed various historical and archaeological sites across the Middle East over the last few years.
The systematic state funded demolition of historic sites across Arabia continues to date and we demand that these sites be identified by UNESCO and be protected as World Heritage projects.
As well, we demand that steps be taken to ensure the immediate reconstruction of the demolished ancient history of Jannatul Baqee which is revered by millions of Muslims worldwide
