By now, many of you have seen the news of UNC’s Beta Theta Pi being involved in the sale of illicit drugs such as crack cocaine, ecstasy, and marijuana. This is clearly unacceptable  and has more than likely resulted in addictions and unnecessary deaths. I am calling on UNC to close down the chapter of Beta Theta Pi- and with the free real estate- transform it into an Olive Garden with their signature all you can eat salad and breadsticks. This will allow UNC students to form bonds with each other over delicious soups and salads- not crack cocaine. Chancellor Guskiewicz, UNC administrators, and those in charge of our fine institution- now is the time to act.
