I am a part of Frisco Independent School District (ISD), and like many others, I deeply believe in self-expression, especially in our educational systems. For us, one way we express ourselves is through customizing our Canvas learning platform with the Better Canvas Chrome Extension. This extension lets us make our Canvas interface more personalized and user-friendly. The disappointment we felt when Frisco ISD blocked this extension was immense.

The Canvas Learning Management System is widely used across K-12 and higher education institutions, serving about 30 million users in 2019. The Better Canvas Chrome extension has been beneficial for many to improve the Canvas experience. Despite this, our district, with its 60,000 students, is currently denied access to the extension's features. We believe that everyone should have the freedom to customize their learning experiences. It can lead to more productivity and focus on our studies, and even increase user satisfaction.

Let's encourage Frisco ISD to consider its students' voices and restore our ability to personalize our learning space by unblocking the Better Canvas Chrome extension. Please sign this petition to show your support for our cause.
