Pokémon showdown was a beloved website used all over the school. One day, when we went to check to play it, it was banned. Many kids used this app after they had finished their school work when they were bored. Now those kids don’t know what to do and are exploring websites that are way worse than Pokémon showdown, but unblocked though hosting “adult content” like Pokémon Showdown. Pokémon Showdown is based off of a kids game and shows nothing endangering the kids or mature. The reason listed for it being blocked is “Mature content” though this game is played by 5 year olds and younger. It is a way that kids connect and can play together, as well as collect nostalgia from their childhood. Bring back Pokémon Showdown!
