Dear brothers and sisters,

On January 8th, 2021, the President of the United States was banned from Twitter. This marks a dark day for freedom of speech and the free-flow of ideas within the United States. Though Trump’s rhetoric is sometimes harsh, it is important to remember that, as a free society, we should defend everyone’s right to speak freely.

This act, by Twitter, was especially egregious, considering the fact that President Trump made no call for violence or harm. On Twitter, he simply stated what he believed to be true. He defended his values, just as every other American would: liberal or conservative. 

Before corporate censorship becomes too powerful, please sign this petition as a symbol of resistance to corporate control because this could be you one day. I do not want to live in a world where a socialist is silenced because they disagree with the billionaire on the other side of town. I don’t want to live in a world where a libertarian can’t express their thoughts because it goes against the values of an elite, Hollywood socialite. I want to live in a world where we can debate and express our viewpoints because that is how we fight the echo-chambers of radicalization!
