I am an art student at Lincoln middle school in Portland Maine, guess what? they had pixilart! ... until they decided to take it away. well, here's some problems about that. 1: it can start depression in art students. think about. art students (students who love art and/or try to study it) can feel lonley sometimes. and pixil art solved that problem! beginner artists went to PIXILART, saw professional artists and animators and started to learn! they could also chat with them but not privately, so it would be almost IMPOSSIBLE to lure a kid, but when they ban one of these online things? it can cause kids to feel, alone, sad, suppressed to learn even if the people who ban the app aren't trying to. it can cause kids to become, depressed, quitting things they love, and not feeling like their the lowest on a foodchain that shouldnt exisist.  2: it might cause some kids to become unfocused in their work, yes. I know how this sounds. it sounds like I'm faking all of this. but actuall, as someone who cannot focused if it isn't interesting, I had a solution, I told myself that after school I would go on PIXILART and start to draw! this helped me get some motivation and helped me focus in social study's, ela, math, and science! and even though I have other electronics that can access pixilart now, other kids don't. other kids may look fine but no matter what some kids don't have the right situation to even AFFORD other electronics which can lead to kids feeling like theres no reason to learn, that its just a prison that justifys itself on the OUTSIDE. and maybe it is I honestly don't know anymore. but plus if we do have pixilart or any graphics programs that we can socailize on and is also safe like pixil art we might rember we have homework and actually do it because were in a good mode and already on a school computer. 3:  it can help with creativity! we will be able to access a SAFE version of Pinterest, and you might be wondering what I mean by that. I mean well I use Pinterest and love it I have seen some.. not so school stuff. but pixilart doesn't have ANY of those things and keeps it really safe for students all around. because no matter if your rich or poor, you cannot delete memorys and the causes it has. but due  to pixilart you could look up bases that you could trace or draw but ONLY if you had permission by the artist! yes, permission. they actually make you need permission which can teach kids to ask before they take. 

now. you may be wondering and asking. "why would we do all this when we could just.. draw on like kleki or another thing?" can you chat on there. and if so is it safe? I know nothing is perfectly safe but I've never, and I swear it on my entire life. my life source, and my own soul. I have never seen a more safer drawing app that's online and you can chat with people.

"why would we need this when we have teachers seeing what our children/friends write?" well because believe it or not. they can lure kids in ways no one even thought of. and I'm not joking. I've seen someone come up to me on Roblox and say "wanna be my gf?" and thank God my parents taught me about stranger danger cause I was like only 7. and that person was probably 50 for gods sake.. and Roblox has thousands of employees. so how could we say that all schools that have like 30-40 teachers or smth can beat like 300 students talking to strangers online?! 

"I don't want my child on pixilart though." but other parents might do. so please. I'm begging you. listen to what I have to say and help other students too.. cause this isn't just my school. this isn't just me. and other kids might have depression and this honestly might make it worse. because I'm talking about me. pixilart was bascally a dream to me. made me forget about all my troubles. the president? forgotten. pollution? people make that aware but not like tiktok that screams in your face and makes you feel useless and made me cry. and I know the thing about TikTok is something that tiktokers should scream at you about. but.. I cant even go onto my FYP or else I see depressing things..  so yea, tiktokers that scream at us? you have a right to. and I'm not saying other wise. but pixilart also makes me feel better so I see more of your videos and I wont spiral out of control. and there's like at least a billion people on this planet. most of them probably still minors. and most minors probably students of some kind. and maybe of all those people we are in schools with chromebooks.

"but I don't like chromebooks!" well it helps with homework too? kids cant lie because on Google classroom nothing can happen to the homework. no dog. no cat. no shredder. and students learn to be responsible. but with the ban of pixilart even I, someone who hates not being responsible. has to go onto a different app to draw and be happy. now imagine that with someone who has no electronics. 11. depressed. and pixilart was their escape. gone. no message. no "sorry but..". NOT EVEN GIVING THE STUDENTS A REASON. WITH GAMES I GET IT. BUT AN APP STUDENTS USE TO LEARN ART?! you might as well just ban clever, ban Google classroom because either way your taking away a students right to learn something by banning this app.

I know I seem dramatic.. but please.. I'm begging you. just help. don't hate on schools that do this just.. help.
