There is still a notable market demand for teacups and saucers, as evidenced by numerous customer requests. Whilte the cup and saucer may not sell in high numbers, they DO attract a larger purchases. Many collectors buy only 1 teacup/saucer set in each new color but add other items to fill out their order. Removing the teacup will result in at least some customers simply not making ANY purchases. 

By resuming the production of teacups and saucers, Fiesta Dinnerware can continue to serve die-hard fans. This move could also rejuvenate interest in the brand as the Millennials have a particular interest in retro concepts.
