Close University of Minnesota campuses, switch to online classes due to coronavirus

The Issue

University of Minnesota twin-cities campus pose a great risk of infection of the coronavirus to all students and staff. Currently(Mar. 10), the United States has 953 confirmed cases of COVID-19, and there are 3 confirmed cases in MN. Close the campuses and offer online classes for all classes until further notice to ensure the safety of all UMN members.

With Spring Break coming up, it is no doubt that there will be high probability for the virus to spread amongst college students. Keeping the school open is reckless and is bound to spread the virus unnecessarily. Classes can be offered online and should be for our safety. I do not want to get my family sick and neither do any other students.
