This petition has been set up asking the UK Parliament to Draft a Bill to Ban any type of knife, or similar in all education settings, with no exceptions what so ever be it religious or other.

Having recently seen that the current law is flawed and to many exceptions are being used e.g religious, and other.

The current Criminal Justice Act 1988 is outdated and needs to be adapted to reflect the current times we are living in.

Knife crime is on the rise especially with those under 18 years of age in particular.

As a parent I am asking you all to fully support this petition.

It is not reflective of any religion, national costume or other.

It is about having a duty of care towards our children and those in education, making sure they have a safe haven without any potential risks of coming into contacts with knives of any sort.

For example in school a uniform should be universal and generic for all.

Logic and common sense says there must be a total ban without exceptions, if people want to wear knives or similar as part of there religion or national dress etc they should go to a faith school.

PLEASE SUPPORT THIS PETITION AND JUST SAY NO TO ANY FORM OF KNIVES OR SIMILAR IN ANY EDUCATION SETTING BAR NONE.
