Horses must be taken out of the police force. Horses are not aggressive animals by nature and are used as a weapon to the public during riots and protests. Horses are very nervous animals and to take an animals that should be living in a herd like environment in a quiet home, are taken into busy cities and dangerous situations like riots. Most horses show signs of fear whilst in these situations by opening their mouths, raising their heads, and showing the whites of their eyes. It is also incredibly dangerous to the public to potentially be trampled by an animal that weighs over 1000lb. This animals should NOT be used in dangerous situations to intimidate the public, and should not be forced into these situations. Ex police horses are also a common horse that end up in sanctuaries and rescue centres due to post traumatic stress.
