Support the legalization of same-sex civil marriage in the United Kingdom.

The Issue

The Gay Stage is committed to progression of gay rights in the UK and worldwide, which is why we’ve started this campaign to support same sex marriage in the UK. The parliament discussions taking place in 2012 on whether or not they should legalize gay marriage could be pivotal to the future Britain’s gay community. With your support and engagement we aim to produce petitions, events and a series of short films in the coming months.

Live and Let Love 2012 relies on our community, by which we mean LGBTQ supporters and our heterosexual friends, in order to achieve our goal to highlight that same sex marriage must be legalized for the UK to call itself equal.

The project will be managed by our Editor’s Daniel Marshall and Lew Ryland, who are engaged to each other, as it happens. They will work with other creative to gather support for same sex marriage, and they will also head our creative team for the short films we produce.

Vitally, Live and Let Love 2012 requires financial sponsorship in order to deliver high quality results. If you think you would like to get involved or that you can help us with sponsorship in exchange for advertising, promotions or any other ideas you might have, please do get in touch with our editor:
