Education and NHS staff have always been in the frontline for decades. Government should grant amnesty to them all and scrap all home office fees for the year 2020 and till the pandemic is over. This will also stop the movement of people out of the country to help containment within the country. 

In these times of crisis we are still having to go to work to ensure lives are saved and vulnerable learners are safeguarded. However, many of them face huge home office fees that has been spiraling for years.

In the year 2020, the government should scrap home office and UKVI fees for anyone that has legally maintained their status in the UK and is employed in education and healthcare. This should include teachers, teaching assistants, support staff, NHS staff, healthcare assistants as well as carers.

Right now we are the core that is keeping the country going. Even if we are not in the workplace, we are working remotely. It is only fair that the government gives something back to these essential service providers. Please join me in making this happen.

It is a very worthy cause.
