With the recent need for closing the schools for safety and to help prevent the spread of the coronavirus, the children are now missing out on vital learning, practice exams, real exams etc. I'm asking for something to be done to give the children their rights to proper education. Whether it be opening schools during the summer holidays to make up for the time lost or pro-longing the start of the new term slightly to give them a chance to learn what they would have during this hard time. Not every child will be able to learn at home, have Internet access etc, so they will go into the new term new classes behind. Some will learn things they don't need to some will learn bare minimum some will learn more than others. My son is only in his first year at school, he's learnt so much already but with the schools now closed, there's only so much I can teach him and that he will actually want to sit and do. The decision got made to have the schools closed for people's safety and for the right reasons but now it needs to be taken into consideration what the children are missing, what this means for their future. Please help me to spread this and see if we can help the children to get the education they need. Thank you for taking the time to read this and hope I can do something.
