please help my family remain together within the UK. I'm British, my husband is American and our 3 year old son is British. My husband Aj and I have been applying and paying for visas and appeals for the last 3 years for us to be able to live together as a family in the UK but have been refused every time. We have spent thousands on visas and our church has helped a lot as we don't have £1000plus to pay for visas over and over. The ongoing  situation has prevented Aj from   being able to work since he came here over 2 years ago therefore, he is the full time carer to our son Jayden and has an extremely close bond with him hence such a separation would be heartbreaking. Throughout this 2 year period I have been the sole breadwinner supporting my husband and son. If Aj   was allowed to stay he could find employment and pay tax to the UK Government.

It has been suggested that we could move to the USA but I anticipate at least the same problems with me being subjected to the scrutiny that my husband has been subjected to. My husband’s father, a former US Serviceman who has successfully attained British citizenship many years ago, only lives 10 miles away from our home. My husband has settled in the UK and has friends and family here.

The home office has not looked at this case from our sons perspective or at the affects their decision will have on him. They agree we're a genuine couple so there's no issues there. In my opinion they're only thinking about the finance side of things in regards to law and the threshold and not the human aspect of this case. We are all settled here in a close knit family here, I was born and raised here. We have no support network in the USA so if we were to move there we'd be homeless and our son would have no access to healthcare so the home office are basically tearing my family apart. They're giving us the choices of splitting the family up or all going and having nothing, losing everything and everyone we know and love.

We have just been issued a letter stating my husband needs to leave the country in the next 7 days or face deportation for up to 10 years.

please sign my petition, I need your help; my family needs your help. It's not fair that our right to a family life is being took away like this.
