There has been a lot of interference from MPs regarding the proposed NUFC Takeover by PCP Partners. It has become apparent that many of the most vocal opponents have links to Qatar, who have been trying to block the deal. An investigation is needed in order to ascertain why certain MPs have been so outspoken. The finances of certain individuals ought to be scrutinised, as it would appear that some have been ‘incentivised’ to oppose the deal. Quite simply, a foreign power buying MPs is unacceptable and warrants a full and proper investigation. As Nicola Sturgeon refuses to engage in debate around her party’s links with Qatar then perhaps a formal investigation will compel her.
