At present the driving theory tests are valid for 2 years from the date of passing the test.  Given the present climate, and the inability for people to take a practical driving tests this does not seem fair.  By the time those who have a valid theory test are able to book and take a test there will be huge backlogs, extending the time until they are able to take a test even further back.  

Please extend the validity of current theory tests.  The 2 year validity is currently set in legislation, with no plans to change it. Given the current situation, this is unfair on all those with a valid theory test.  This needs to be reviewed and changed.  Current legislation states they can only be valid for two years due to a need to ensure knowledge is current. However, when drivers who have passed their test do not need to resit a theory test, there is scope for this to be extended or changed.  Drivers who have passed their driving test do not necessarily drive straight away, realistically what is the difference?
