Open all hospitality venues.
The Issue
We have no real scientific evidence for closures in hospitality, if there is any then surely any closures should be applied across the country. Publish any actual evidence that these establishments are contributing to the spread of the virus anymore than non essential businesses, when you go into a hospitality venue with your mask on you sign in using NHS app, you sanitize your hands, you are given a seat, you order your drinks pay by machine which is sanitized after, there are more restrictions in hospitality than anywhere, yet you closed them in some areas if the risk is so great they must all be closed no exceptions. The hospitality trade has gone above and beyond in many cases to ensure the safety of customers and staff, they have one way systems, risk assessments have been done making them one of the safest places to visit. Many of the smaller businesses will not survive this, you have let the hospitality trade down, people are losing their jobs at a time of year when they need it most, open them all or close them, there was no big spike when you opened them in July, I would suggest you have no sound evidence for closing these businesses, if you do you must provide it along with an independent review on it. Further more the evidence needs to be fact based not projected as it is very clear that your predictions fall short on numerous occasions you have had many months to gather the relevant information on risks involved remembering once in a venue you are kept separated at all times and in your own bubble. I would say the hospitality venue is one of the safest places to be as transmission rates are very low unlike schools which seems very high in comparison, The government need to provide evidence of the spread of the virus in pubs cafes ect, if proven risk is found then the government must close all hospitality other than takeaway.
