Allow UK citizens to see friends/family in private gardens during the lockdown

The Issue

Since Thursday 5th November, the UK has gone into a second complete national lockdown.  This means that you are unable to see friends/family inside their household, no overnight stays, non-essential shops have closed, along with bars, clubs and restaurants.

According to https://www.gov.uk/guidance/new-national-restrictions-from-5-november#meeting-others-safely it clearly states that you can meet your friends/family in the following places: neighbourhood streets, parks, beaches, and the countryside, public gardens and grounds (whether or not you pay to enter them)
allotments and outdoor playgrounds.

What bothers me is that you can't even meet your friends/family in a private garden, where social distancing could be maintained, and you could wear a facemask/visor if needed - YET schools, colleges and universities are allowed to mix with various persons from different households.

I am asking you all to sign this petition for the state of people's mental health's and wellbeing.  Seeing friends and family during this period of isolation is sacred, and not seeing them can be detrimental.
