Lampers are responsible for killing my cats. How many other cats that go missing have been shot and disposed of by lampers? 

The lampers go in fields destroying crops, so no respectable farmer would allow them on their land.

Lampers shine high powered lights and shoot indiscriminately at any eyes that shine. They might not always humanely dispatch an animal, if they cannot find it once wounded. 

Lampers are not part of the countryside, the wildlife is. 

You may have seen field gateways blocked by bales or farm implements, this is because the majority of arable farmers do not want the lampers on their crops. 

The idyllic countryside is spoilt by high powered lights shining into houses at any given time of the night, when the lampers think that no-one will see them. And the pitiful cries of a wounded animal is not pleasant for anyone to hear.

Please sign the petition to hopefully alert people to the darker side of lamping and to encourage the UK government to update it's wildlife laws to protect our native animals, that are an important part of eco systems within the countryside.

If wildlife needs to be controlled for any reason it should be done humanely by a single clean shot. Not have to run for it's life injured only to die slowly later.
