The monarchy had served it's purpose but is no longer relevant in a modern society. It does not contribute in any meaningful way to the wellbeing of the British people and frankly the fact that it is a hereditary right violates or human rights. No one should be born with more rights than everyone else. 

The monarchy needs to be abolished and an elected president should represent the UK.
