The Yulin festival in China is going on as we speak.

For those unaware of what this is it is a festival whereby dog meat is consumed over a period of 7-10 days starting on summer solstice.

Dogs are taken from the streets, and from families and endure extreme torture prior to being consumed.

This is a barbaric festival that needs to STOP.

'The Lychee and Dog Meat Festival (or Yulin Dog Meat Festival) is an annual celebration held in Yulin, Guangxi, China, during the summer solstice in which festival goers eat dog meat and lychees. The festival began in 2009 and spans about ten days during which thousands of dogs are reportedly consumed. The festival has drawn criticism both domestically and abroad.'

With the coronavirus pandemic oing on, and although it is supposed to be against the law according to the Chinese Government it is still going on... in fact THIS IS HAPPENING NOW.....

Please share to educate and join us in trying to stop this going on... perhaps we should start a petition to encourage our governments to put sanctions in place until a time comes where dogs and other wild animals are respected, are not tortured to be eaten and can live a happy normal life...

These dogs deserve respect and love but not barbaric torture and consumption for the purpose of a festival or traditions.
