Given that wider support networks are crucial in meeting the needs of adopted children; I am petitioning for adoptive households to be able to meet indoors with 1 other household during national lockdown. 
The chosen household would be key to the child/children’s and parent/parent’s wider support network; ie, grandparents. 
Permanency, routine and positive attachments are fundamental; where the needs of adopted children are concerned and such topics form a part of the package of mandatory training that ALL prospective adoptive parents are expected to undertake prior to a formal adoption. 
Given that many adopted children have already seen significant disruption to their; routines, educational arrangements and other significant activities; I feel it’s important that they are allowed to see members of their wider support network; so that positive attachments may continue to flourish.   
The needs of the adopted parent/s should not be overlooked either; since the proposed wider support network would provide; respite and emotional support.
