How are we supposed to ensure our future academic success if we have to gamble on our grades during this time of uncertainty? We are petitioning for the CR/NC deadline of April 30th, to be moved to after we have final grades, at the moment we do not have class total grades and with final exams worth up 45% in certain classes we could gamble our academic progress (GPA). Other public universities have taken this proactive step such as Michigan State University and others in the midwest, allowing their students to take the time, reduce anxiety and pick to have their grades count fairly. UIUC and the other Illinois campuses say the care for the education that their students gain, this is an opportunity to further show why we as students are loyal to UIUC. I-L-L!!
