The University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo is an integral part of the Hawaiʻi Island community. Its expansion assists in the growth of the Hawaiʻi Island economy, and serves to contribute to the overall health and well being of the residents of Hawaiʻi State.
Currently, the University is working to expand the College of Pharmacy, the third professional college in the University of Hawaiʻi system.

Future accreditation for the College of Pharmacy is contingent on the development of a permanent building, with appropriate teaching and research facilities, which requires state funds to be built. Without investment from the State of Hawaiʻi, the University of Hawaiʻi system and the people of Hawaiʻi will miss an opportunity to grow our State’s economy and livelihood.

With over $11,000,000.00 in public funding already invested in the College of Pharmacy, the University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo is working toward its goal of improving healthcare in Hawaiʻi and throughout the Pacific. In order to achieve improving Hawaiʻi’s healthcare system consistent public support is necessary.
