Global warming is a pressing matter that can only be solved through the efforts of everyone. In Gainesville, Florida, most off-campus residential buildings do not offer its residents any recycling options. This petition is intended to put pressure on buildings such as the Standard, the Lark, Social 28, and the Trimark Properties to establish accessible recycling options throughout the buildings. Doing so will help increase recycling practices among UF students in an effort to help improve Gainesville's residential areas and the environment as a whole.
