As we near the end of summer, we want to thank you all for your terrific efforts in support of our critical petition.
 
In the last couple of months we have broken the 4,500 signature milestone on our petition, as well as meeting with MLAs from a wide variety of parties and committees across the Alberta province government who have taken on board what we have to say.
 
We are excited to share that our representative has secured a meeting with Jason Luan, the Community and Social Services Minister for Alberta. Minister Luan plays a key role in the governance of the provincial disability support programs, and we are thrilled to have this opportunity to discuss the issues facing our sector.
