As we all know this pandemic has taken a major financial blow on all of our livelihoods from lost jobs to the loss of homes. UCLA undergraduates who qualify for financial aid has seen a major decrease in their financial aid packages. Causing many students to receive eFANs that calls for funds the family or student does not have. We demand financial change. From this we are asking to distribute the money amongst those who are in need due to the pandemic. 

Personally I have an EFC of 0, and I am still being asked to pay over 1,000 that I nor my family do not have. Especially in this time of a pandemic where jobs are scarce, UCship is limited, and remote learning is at FULL PRICE. 

There is no reason why zoom meetings and quiz assignments should cost $36,000. And if this is the case UCLA, increase financial aid to full coverage because no students are using utilities on campus and will not be in the upcoming Fall.  

As UCLA students who have been admitted into the top public university in the nation, I see no reason as to why our FAFSA packages are not full-coverage.

UCLA has made it very apparent in their very first email in regards to returning to UCLA that athletics are far more important to them, however what about us? The hardworking low-income students who need this education along with every other admit. 

We demand more financial aid UCLA and Gene Block. Students rely on the UCLA campus for a safe home, UCship healthcare, and overall well-being. Put your students first UCLA.
