Every single day I see people doxing others online for ANY reason.  Be it a difference in opinion, not liking a celebrity they may be a fan of, or just not liking someone.  Doxing doesn't just lead to harassment, but stalking, swatting, and even death.  It is dangerous.  Recently we saw a Federal Judge lose her son and almost lose her husband because our information is too easily obtained online.  Stronger restrictions need to be placed that limit companies selling or posting our information.  Sites, such as White pages or the plethora of background sites need to be more restricted to ONLY people with business (for employment purposes), investigative, or other legal licenses.  People who dox others need to be held legally accountable for their actions.  The laws have not kept up with online crime and this is a MAJOR issue that needs to be addressed NOW!
