Dear Mitch McConnell,

In 9 months, you have allowed adults to receive $1,800, $1,100 per child. Today you made a statement saying that is enough money, while governments across our nation have forced businesses to close, leaving millions without pay or underpaid. This is on top of the fact that Americans are already catastrophically underpaid as is.

Meanwhile, other countries have been giving it's citizens that money per month, so we, the American people, know that it is possible to do the right thing. Congress has ensured they receive their 100k a year salaries while the American population has faced eviction, starvation, and utilities being cut off during a pandemic the likes of which we have never seen before. And yet you object to increasing payments by $1,400.

Today, you showed us that you do not care about the American people. Today, you told the American people that we should just roll over and accept the paltry help you have hereto provided. Today, you told the American people that we cannot expect help from our own government. Today, you forgot the most important fact of any government.

What value do you have to the American people if, when we need you, you tell us you have "done enough?" If you tell us you will support targeted aid while blocking targeted aid for the last year? You have sat there, in office, collecting a check from taxpayer money for long enough.
