As a US citizen with family in the military, the recent Taliban takeover in Afghanistan was an extremely disturbing event to witness. President Biden's response to the American people and to the world was to shift blame to the previous administration and deflect responsibility for his administration's failed exit strategy. This serves a reflection of his poor leadership skills and his inadequacy to serve as Commander in Chief. 

It is one blunder after another with this President, and it should be obvious to everyone that he is unfit for service in this capacity. A weak United States is a detriment to the entire world, and it seems that both the foreign and domestic policies of this administration are going to lead to our demise as a nation. I believe he needs to be impeached as soon as possible to prevent any further damage to the US and abroad. 

My hope is that this petition will lead our US Senators and Congressmen to denounce the actions of this administration and support the resignation or impeachment of this President before it is too late.

Here are just a few reasons why he has got to go:

• Freely opening our Southern border and halting construction of the wall, leading to a crisis of inhumane proportions
• Rapid inflation, rising gas prices, and declining wages as a result of historic spending
• Allowing the defunding of police and allowing BLM to hold violent protests around our country with seemingly no consequences
• Interfering with pipeline XL construction which would have reduced our dependency on foreign oil
• Repeatedly extending the eviction moratorium with no Congressional oversight, which placed a huge financial strain on landlords
• Promoting vaccine misinformation to the American public
• Abandoning post in Afghanistan without considering the Americans left stranded there nor our Afghan allies that helped in numerous ways over the past two decades
• Leaving the Taliban $85 billion of dollars in military equipment, aircraft and firearms which will surely be used against the rest of the Afghan population
