As many of you may know, a tragedy occurred on March 24, 2022 in Orlando,  FL at the ICON Amusement Park. Tyre Sampson, 14, fell to his death while riding the Free Fall drop tower , which takes riders up and then drops them nearly 400 feet at speeds that reach more than 75 mph. Sampson stood 6 foot 5 inches, and weighed 340lbs. Tyre should have never been allowed to get on this particular ride for this exact reason, in regards to his safety. 

Unfortunately,  due to the poor judgment from an individual he was allowed to ride. For this very reason is why I am calling for all Amusement Park rides to be equipped with panic buttons ! There are so many things that can occur, so many health hazards that could arise on rides such as the Free Fall tower. If Tyre was on a ride equipped with a panic button, he would have pressed it when he felt something was wrong, in which he expressed to his friends.

No child should ever have to be in that situation, with no way to call for help. So I ask everyone to sign this petition,  in order to prevent something like this from ever happening again!! Let's push the US Federal and State Amusement Ride Regulation , and SafePark USA to require all Amusement Park rides with panic buttons !! That's the only way to prevent this tragedy from ever happening again, and restore the publics  trust back into the world of fun and amusement!
