I was planning on applying to this college because it is pretty well known in terms of academics and financial affordability. It was only until I went on their website to schedule the tour that I discovered their mascot. An "Apache Indian", even worse they have a drumbeat tradition and a drill team called the Apache Belles. Even though the school is relatively well established, no where have I seen any awareness for this issue or any intent to change it. Please help end this injustice against indigenous people and sign!
