Yik Yak used to be a way to see whats on people's minds, mostly for college campuses. "My Herd" was our way to keep in touch with our campus even when we were away for vacation.

Small steps away from anonymity were made with the introduction of profiles, but the recent update forced them to be turned on all the time. This app was built on privacy, but that has been taken away and now it even suggests to add social media. 

We want to bring back Yik Yak to the fun app it was before: connecting people in a way that made them feel comfortable.
