With a recent drastic increase of housing developments and community growth, Zion Hill rd and 920 have become a danger zone due to speed limits. Many recent wrecks and fatalities have motivated me to take steps to get these limits decreased from 60mph to 40mph. I am starting this petition to get local community involvement to take to txdot. The hills and curves on these roads make it difficult to see over and around them. Often times cars are at a stop due to an accident and those coming over the hill can’t see that, therefore causing additional risks and wrecks. I feel it’s worth it to our families and neighbors to fight for additional safety measures by reducing these limits. Many farms and ranches are local meaning often times, trucks pulling trailers will be pulling out slowly on to these roads not to mention all the concrete trucks needed for all the new housing developments. The traffic will only continue to increase and safety is a huge concern. Thank you for your participation and involvement to achieve this goal.
