Two NYU students were caught ripping down posters of hostages being held in Gaza by HAMAS
The Issue
Two NYU students, identified as Hafiza Mhalique and Yazmeen Deyhimi (as well as one unidentified individual), were caught on security footage tearing down posters of hostages being held captive in gaza by hamas, in the surrounding area. INNOCENT individuals who were brutally kidnapped from their homes, ripped away from their families, and potentially MURDERED by a literal terrorist organization. A terrorist organization that is still being supported by individuals like this. I wish I would have the proper words to describe my anger, disbelief, and hurt that I feel learning about this situation and situations alike. These people are monsters!! COLLEGE STUDENTS just like me, doing such an unforgivable, sickening thing. Say it with me: These cowards do not deserve to continue attending New York University, a notoriously prestigious university in New York City. However, as we’ve seen in the last few days, universities across america have allowed for antisemitic protests and rallies to occur on campuses- including my own university. Every time I see or hear of it happening, I am sick to my stomach. This should NOT be happening! Jewish students in schools and universities across the USA should not have to fear for their lives every day attending a place that is supposed to be a safe environment for all. Screw “first amendment” rights! That does not apply to terrorist organizations, acts, and notions. Do better, because this is despicable!!! New York University needs to get these students expelled, and provide them with the punishment they deserve. And I’ll say it again for those who don’t understand - If you have no problem denying what is happening, you are supporting terrorism. I’d like to hear you say you support the events that happened on 9/11 as well…would you do that? The saddest day in American history? Remember: If you are only standing up to terrorism when it affects you personally, you. are. part of. the. problem. #BringThemHome #StandWithIsrael
