If you review Donald Trump's followers on Twitter you will notice something very strange: Most of the candidate's followers don't have a profile picture. If you go to those individual accounts, they don't have any tweets, nor followers. Most of those accounts are from developing nations such as: Philippines, Malaysia, India, South Africa and Indonesia. Buying fake followers for a Twitter account is a serious violation of their guidelines: "Twitter strictly prohibits the purchasing and selling of account interactions on our platform. When you purchase followers, retweets and favorites, you are often purchasing bot (fake) or hacked accounts. Any account caught participating in this behavior will be in violation of the Twitter Rules and may be suspended." Twitter we consider you a trustworthy company and would like to keep using your services. We trust you will do the right thing: please review the candidate's account and proceed accordingly.
