While the Spanish comedian, Juan Joya Borja, was most famously known as El Risitas, a large portion of the internet knows him another way. He carries on his legacy as a man full of joy and laughter. The meme that he’s a part of, coined as kekw, is wildly popular and continues to make us all laugh and smile. His unbridled joy was universal; stretching to the farthest corners of the internet for all to see and enjoy. In honor of his recent passing, I propose that Twitch should honor his legendary status as an internet meme by solidifying his laughing face as an official Twitch.tv emote. Let’s make it happen.
