TVL STUDENTS PRACTICES TO IMPROVE THEIR KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

TVL STUDENTS PRACTICES TO IMPROVE THEIR KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
The Issue
PROBLEM:
Many TL students lacks of knowledge and skills about their strand because of the impact of COVID-19. (JESUS FELIX T. GALIAS) so distance learning approaches as a weak substitute for practical excersices when they require the use of materials and equipments that we can't easily find at home. TVL specialization that struggle the most with adjustments to distance learning are those that depend easily on learning by doing. the main problem of TVl students is how will they be able to do their job if they lack skills and knowledge about it, they will need a lot of time to practice to improve their skills and knowledge.
SOLUTION:
Lucas, Cooper, Ward and Cave (2009) mentioned that the students could also
develop the highest sense of subject related career opportunities from a career
development perspective, which it may result from completing a degree in their field.
Canter (2000) identifies the role of a workplace in helping them to grow their skills for
being employment.
BENEFITS:
Taking on Senior High is both an exciting and nerve-wracking time for any student. As the next stage of a high school student’s education, this period is also one where they make important decisions that can set the course of their life for many years to come. While some students see themselves in the corporate world or working as doctors or nurses, there are students who have highly-specialized fields or tracks that don’t necessarily fit under the typical ABM and STEM tracks of today. The Technical-Vocational-Livelihood (TVL) Track is an option that senior highs school students can choose to prepare for highly-specialized professions that require additional education, or immediate employment post-senior high.
