The old main solarium has been inaccessible to students for years now, and without a clear use for the space it seems like a waste of one of the coolest rooms on campus. I propose that the school turns this space into somewhere students can go to study while enjoying the natural light (or sounds of rain on the glass). When looking a little further it seems like most students on campus are completely unaware that we even have a solarium on campus. Hopefully this petition can help the students gain access to one of the best and most hidden rooms on our campus, and if not it hopefully we can at least learn why it’s inaccessible to us.
