Dolphins are sentient beings, who should not be subjected to the abject conditions of captivity. There are 11 facilities in Turkey, some of which feature aquariums, swim-with programs and dolphin-assisted therapy. These captives must be released and protective legislation must be put in place to safeguard wild dolphins.
