1. The TUP has announced an Academic Consolidation Week A.K.A "PRETEND ACADEMIC BREAK". The consolidation week starting November 23, 2020 to November 27, 2020, will be given to the students to finish their requirements.

HOWEVER, THIS IS NOT AN ACADEMIC BREAK!

2. The TUP PRESIDENT, RODRIGO TORRES, has refused to give the TUP SYSTEM an academic break due to his reason that the part-timer instructors will consequently not have their salaries.

IN THIS CASE, THE PART TIMERS OF TUP HAVE NOT YET RECEIVED THEIR SALARIES SINCE SEPTEMBER 2020!

3. Only the TUP and TIP have not yet announced their academic break at this time where almost all of the universities including PRIVATE universities have already announced theirs.

This is in compliance with the #NationalAcademicBreak.

4. WE ARE CALLING FOR #AcademicBreakNowTUP NOT BECAUSE THE STUDENTS ARE LAZY BUT BECAUSE A MUST-NEEDED BREAK IS NEEDED FROM ALL THE PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DISTRESS THAT THIS PANDEMIC AND THE PAST CALAMITIES HAVE BROUGHT THE PHILIPPINES.

5. IF AN ACADEMIC BREAK WILL STILL NOT BE ANNOUNCED FROM RODRIGO JESUS TORRES, HE WILL NEED TO STEP DOWN FROM HIS POSITION AS THE TUP PRESIDENT.
