Reopen Plymouth Airport

Reopen Plymouth Airport
In December 2011, our beloved airport was closed and has been to this day. We're now in January 2020 and the people of Plymouth need to make the utmost effort at enabling a more efficient travel route into the southwest. It's unfortunate that a city with a population of 260,000 people hasn't got a form of aviation travel hub, which in itself is pretty appalling. Plymothians have to travel just over an hour to fly somewhere (nearest airports being Exeter and Newquay) which is absolutely ridiculous. So, instead of spending unneeded amounts of money on student flats, cafés and fast-food joints, spend something detrimental to our great city. So this next upcoming decade needs to be the decade of change to our city, reopening our airport would open a gate to people around the country and elsewhere. Make travelling abroad for Plymothians that bit easier, instead of travelling over an hour. This needs to happen and this needs to happen right now!
