President Trump ordered back pay for Transportation Security Administration workers last week — but left thousands of other essential federal workers behind.

Coast Guard civilian employees, FEMA workers, and Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency staff have had no full paycheck since February 16.

TSA got paid because airport lines made headlines. Coast Guard workers have no public-facing role — so they've been forgotten.

These workers have been taking out bank loans, moonlighting for extra income, and watching their colleagues look for new jobs. One worker hasn't received half a paycheck in over a month. Another is keeping a spreadsheet of money owed to friends and family just to survive.

They showed up. Every single day. Without pay.

We call on President Trump to immediately extend his back pay order to cover all essential Department of Homeland Security workers — including Coast Guard civilians, FEMA, and Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency employees.
