President Donald Trump has publicly threatened to “blow up and completely obliterate” Iran’s power plants, oil wells, and critical infrastructure if a deal is not reached.

These are not just military targets — they are systems that millions of civilians depend on for electricity, water, and basic survival.

Destroying this infrastructure would not only escalate the conflict, but could also lead to mass humanitarian consequences, putting innocent lives at risk and destabilizing the region further.

This is a line that must not be crossed.

We call on President Donald Trump and U.S. leadership to reject any plans to target civilian infrastructure, pursue diplomacy, and avoid actions that could worsen the humanitarian crisis.
