This is the only local bus service that the Rylands community has to travel into Nottingham. Beeston bus station is 3/4 of a mile away and not readily accessible. The tram is of no use to Rylands residents. We will be forced to catch a bus into Beeston to go back out into Nottingham; it does not make sense! People use Route 18 to access employment, education, leisure and the QMC. It is our lifeline.With an ageing population, the Route 18 service is the only way many people can access essential services. Walking to the train station or making an additional journey into Beeston to connect to other services is asking too much. Trent Barton please retain our bus route
