I recently found a dog who looked severely malnourished and was roaming the streets. I brought the dog to an Animal Care and Control Center in Los Angeles County in the city of Baldwin Park. I  was met with endless dogs who”s cries were ignored, on a hot day I did not see water in their kennel, and no one was there to give the dogs any type of companionship. It only became worse when it took 5 employees to pull out the dog I just brought to the center out from under my car, because that is where she ran because she was scared. One of the officers said to me she might not be able to be adopted and in other words might not live long due to her unwillingness to go with them, I was outraged by the lack of kindness overall at this place. We as humans need to be the voice for animals and they need to be treated with genuine care. Please sign this petition and bring attention to Los Angeles County that animals are not just a way to make money but should be treated with kindness.
