-FREE PETITION: We just need signatures-

The intent of the petition is to make obtaining a quality education more attainable for more students in the district.  The city of Southfield offers a school of choice for scholars. Societally, we are conscious that students are in need of as much support as possible. We are also aware of the changes in household dynamics|structures including various work or school schedules, transportation insecurities, etc. If transportation to said school becomes available, more students and families would not have to choose between a quality education or attending a school simply because it offers transportation.  Making transportation available to students whose parents have conflicting schedules or transportation insecurities will open doors of opportunity to the students and their families. 

If athletes can receive transportation, and if the Southfield Public School bus can travel to Bloomfield Hills at 7:20 in the morning, then every student in the district can receive transportation.
