Haley Maria Stevens, born in 1983, is an American politician currently serving as the U.S. Representative for Michigan's 11th congressional district, a position she has held since 2019. As a member of the Democratic Party, Stevens represents much of urbanized Oakland County, including many of Detroit's northern suburbs. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and a Master's degree in Social Policy and Philosophy, both from American University. Stevens has a diverse background in public service and economic development, having served as a Special Advisor at the U.S. Department of Commerce and Chief of Staff for the Auto Rescue at the U.S. Department of the Treasury. She has also worked on workforce development and manufacturing engagement initiatives at UI LABS and was part of the Mayor's Innovation Delivery Team in Louisville Metro Government.
